MISHAWAKA, Ind. – A taking pictures Saturday at a northern Indiana shopping mall left 1 person lifeless and despatched shoppers functioning for basic safety, authorities claimed.

St. Joseph County Coroner Michael McGann said Saturday night that 1 individual was killed in the taking pictures about 3 p.m. at College Park Mall in Mishawaka. He did not release even more aspects or the id of the man or woman killed.

The capturing prompted the evacuation of the mall in the city just east of South Bend. Officers remained posted all over the shopping mall for hours afterward.

Renee Dominik, 44, instructed the South Bend Tribune that she was in a shopping mall enjoy space with her partner and two children when she read gunfire.

“I listened to a bang and saw men and women functioning,” she stated. “I thought it was maybe a twister.”

Dominik stated a shoe store staff directed individuals to consider protect within, and she and her loved ones joined about 35 others who rushed into a room in the back of the retail store prior to they later on still left.
